Loon Designs is a western Pennsylvania based brand that is a collection of high-quality, hand-crafted carry goods and accessories. Somer Baun is the maker behind Loon Designs where she creates everything herself from start to finish.  Tote bags, purses, wristlets, and zipper pouches are just a few of the styles offered. They are made from waxed canvas which is a highly water-resistant fabric.  It has a rugged look that shows distressing and wear much as leather does. Bags are designed to be classic and utilitarian, and paired with high quality hardware, textiles, and leather, their durable construction make them a functional accessory to everyday life. The knitwear line includes hats, with handmade faux fur pom poms, headbands, cowls, and shawls. All knits are made with high quality yarn, are inspired by everyday life, and are meant to be basic staples to your wardrobe. The smallest aspect of the collection was created as a way to reuse waste material.  The home goods are made from rope and use scraps of fabric to create bowls, trivets, and coasters.  The leather accessories such as bracelets, key fobs, and cord keepers are made from scraps of leather that are no longer of useable sizes for bag making.  Loon Designs is a brand that strives to produce minimalistic and timeless goods.  From well-crafted bags to practical home goods and accessories, they are essentials that will last a lifetime.
